We gather the first Wednesday of the month in the Faculty/Staff Lounge following morning drop-off to pray for our students, faculty and staff, administrative leadership of the school and board, parents, and specific prayer needs as they arise.
You are welcome to join us!
Our next prayer meeting for this school year is Wednesday, December 4th, at 8:15 am. Please reach out to Hanna or Valencia with any questions at parentsinprayer@ccamail.org. |
Class Picture Retake DayWednesday, December 11th
All grades, PK-Grade 12, will need to have their class photos retaken due to circumstances beyond our control. Geskus Studios, our photography partner, will be on campus on Wednesday, December 11th to retake the photos.
Please note that only class photos will be taken during the upcoming photo session. No individual portraits will be taken. Geskus will ensure that the class photos are high-quality and will work diligently to have them returned to us as quickly as possible.

Giving TuesdayTuesday, December 3rd
Giving Tuesday is in a couple of days! As we approach this day, let us reflect on the profound blessings God has given us—our faith, our families, and the privilege to be part of this extraordinary school community. This day of global generosity – which seeks to empower people and organizations to transform their communities and the world – is about much more than giving for us at Covenant; it’s about embracing stewardship, a calling close to our hearts as a classical Christian community. There are many ways to give! Whether through prayer, your time, or a financial gift of any amount to the Covenant Fund, every contribution strengthens our school’s mission. Click here to learn more about the Covenant Fund and our 2024-2025 $300,000 goal to address the school parking lot, energy efficiency, and more.

Lazarus House Project Bethlehem–Spreading Christmas CheerDonations due: Friday, December 6th
This Christmas, we are partnering with Lazarus House in Lawrence through Project Bethlehem, an incredible opportunity to bless those in need. Many of these families are facing significant financial challenges, and as a Project Bethlehem donor, you have the chance to be a Christmas angel, offering the priceless gift of your thoughtfulness and care during a difficult time.
Join us in spreading holiday joy and making a difference for families in need this Christmas season. Your generosity will help bring hope and comfort to those who need it most. Click here to sign up. Thank you for being part of this heartwarming project! |

Christmas Blessing–Thanking Our Faculty & StaffRequested by Friday, December 13th
Each December, we come together as a school community to show our appreciation for the incredible teachers and staff at Covenant Christian Academy through the Christmas Blessing collection. This annual tradition is a monetary collection from families, which is then equally divided among faculty and staff in the form of gift cards.
Over the years, we’ve found that this method ensures every individual at Covenant feels truly valued for their dedication and hard work. From classroom teachers to those working behind the scenes, everyone plays an essential role in creating the exceptional school experience our children enjoy.
We invite all families to participate by making a monetary donation, helping us express our gratitude and love to those who make a difference at CCA. Thank you for being part of this meaningful tradition!

Looking for a Christmas Devotional?
This year, consider reading CCA Parent Esther Baird’s “The Healed Heart of Christmas”, available on Kindle and in paperback on Amazon. It’s a beautiful way to keep the message of Jesus and the hope of the gospel at the forefront during the busy Christmas season.
Christmas is meant to be a time of joy and celebration, but often we feel overwhelmed as the calendar turns to December. Is it just the long to-do lists and packed schedules? Or does the season reveal something deeper that’s been broken all year long? The truth is, it’s our hearts that are broken, and no amount of busyness can fix them.
In this 25-day devotional, Esther explores how we often try to fix our hearts on our own, only to find ourselves frustrated and disappointed. The good news is that healing is possible—through Jesus. Each day, The Healed Heart of Christmas invites you to discover how Jesus offers to take our broken, cold hearts and replace them with His own, offering true healing and peace.
Make this Christmas season a time of reflection, healing, and renewed hope as you journey through this devotional. Click here to order your copy today! |
