Opportunities to Sponsor the Spring 2025 Production of “Seussical”
We are excited to announce that on March 20, 21, and 22 students in grades 7 – 12 at Covenant Christian Academy (West Peabody) will be performing one of the most performed shows in America, Seussical! The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. With over 50 students in the cast and crew, Seussical will performed in our Performing Arts and Athletic Center, which will be transformed into the world of the Who’s and Jungle Creatures.
We are offering sponsorship opportunities for local businesses, organizations, and events that are interested in reaching families with school aged children throughout the North Shore of Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. The production will feature a live pit orchestra, professional grade costuming, extensive staging, professional lighting and sound engineering.
