The most important things that I learned at CCA were how to think and learn, how to work hard, how to be a leader, and how to have productive discussions and disagreements. I learned a lot of information that has been very useful as well, but that’s secondary, I think. Especially in today’s academic culture in the humanities and social sciences, where professors just want to tell you what to think and believe, it was very important for me and others to have that foundation.
