The following information will be useful as you plan for the 2020 – 2021 academic school year.
Reopening Guide for Fall 2020
Over the last several months, the Administrative Team at Covenant Christian Academy has been working to prepare for the 2020-21 school year. We sought to be thorough, thoughtful, and proactive in our planning. The wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff, and extended school community has remained at the forefront of our conversations as we have prayerfully considered how best to proceed.
This Reopening Plan will likely prove to be a “living document” as research and experts give us more and more accurate information on how best to keep our students safe. If, at any point, it becomes necessary to update our policies and practices, this document will be updated and shared here and directly with all of our parents. Thank you for your continued partnership in the mission of our school. We know that our community has been praying for us all throughout this process, and we covet your continued prayers moving forward.
Assumption of Risk; Release and Waiver of Liability; Health Attestation; COVID-19
It is each family’s responsibility to screen children before each school day and to keep symptomatic children at home, especially children with a temperature exceeding requirements. By sending students to school, parents are attesting to their health and acknowledging that they have not knowingly been in contact with an infected person.
All parents must sign the Assumption of Risk; Release and Waiver of Liability: COVID-19 before their student(s) can return to school. This has become standard procedure for businesses and institutions and students will not be able to begin school without this signed form on file. Please print this form and return it to the CCA office via mail, fax (781-978-7123) or scan to email email@example.com
Our best efforts and careful planning have gone into the preparation of this years calendar.
However, CCA reserves the right to make changes as necessary.
