Covenant Christian Academy is pleased to offer before & after school care programs for children age 4+.
The purpose of our extended day programs is to provide options for parents whose work schedules begin earlier, or end later, than the school day. Students may attend the programs in any way that best fits a family’s schedule. Students may register as regular attendees or drop-in on a day to day basis. Drop in privileges may be restricted if registered enrollment is full.
There is no charge for students attending the morning care program (7:00-8:00 a.m.), while After the Bell care is provided at an additional hourly cost. $9/hour per student, $4.50/hour each additional student in the same family, billed to the nearest 15 minutes.
The After the Bell Program, for students in Pre-K through Grade 8, runs from 3:00-5:30 p.m. Students must be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m. Families will be billed for late pick up after 5:30 p.m. Details can be found on the After the Bell information sheet, which is available in the office.
After-the-Bell for Grammar School students in Pre-K through Grade 6 provides a supervised, comfortable and secure environment for children to complete homework, play with peers and enjoy outdoor time on the playground. The first hour of each day (Mon.-Thurs.) is divided by age level with students in Grades 2-6 attending a mandatory quiet homework hour and younger students enjoying playtime with peers. Both groups are provided a simple snack. Indoor activities may include games, building, arts and crafts, reading and dramatic play. At 4:15 the groups are combined and weather permitting, head out to the playground.
After-The-Bell for Logic School students in Grades 7 and 8 provides limited supervision between 3:30 and 5:30pm. Students must check in at the Main Office and then may proceed to study or complete homework. Students must remain in the front lobby area, are not permitted to wander the building, and must check out with the Main Office when being dismissed to a parent or guardian.
Rhetoric School students in Grades 9 through 12 are welcome to remain on campus, in designated homework and study spaces, until 5:30pm. There is no fee for Rhetoric School students, unless they are picked up after 5:30pm.
